A documentary dedicated to Henryk Józef Marian Elzenberg (1887-1967) – a philosopher, historian of philosophy and professor at the Nicolaus Copernicus University in Torun. People who had direct contact with one of the most outstanding Polish ethicists, who taught, among others, Zbigniew Herbert, as well as those who knew him from his publications, speak about his life.
The description of the scientist’s views starts with a book entitled: „The Trouble With Existence. Aphorisms in the Order of Time”, published in 1963. The stories told have been illustrated by screenshots of the office of Henryk Elzenberg and photographs of him from various stages of his life. A lector reads fragments of his thoughts.
